About
Yogi Honey
Indulge in the exquisite experience of our organic premium Yogi Honey, a true testament to the harmony between nature and beekeeping. Distinctively free of formic, oxalic, and varroacides, our honey is meticulously harvested in perfect synchronization with nature’s rhythm. Each jar offers a unique flavor profile as our bees freely pollinate a diverse array of flowers, plants and grains, creating a symphony of taste nuances that evolve with every passing year.
The rarity of our honey is emphasized by our commitment to limit sales to a mere 250 glasses annually, allowing our bees to thrive in their natural habitat without interference. This deliberate restraint ensures that the bees lead undisturbed lives, contributing to the exceptional quality of our product. In a world where finding such untouched, premium honey is a challenge, we proudly present a genuine organic offering that stands as a beacon of purity and excellence. Elevate your palate with the unparalleled taste of our limited edition organic Yogi Honey, a testament to the delicate dance between bees and the bountiful flora they embrace. Embark on a sensory journey and savor the essence of nature in every spoonful, because you’ve got to try it to truly feel and experience the pure, unadulterated richness that defines Yogi Honey.

The Process
The capped cells of matured honey are taken from the honey chamber (the brood chamber always remains untouched). Under the prescribed hygienic conditions, the honeycombs are uncapped and spun in a stainless steel extractor. The collected honey passes through 2 sieves and is then filled into jars after skimming. There, the natural crystallization process begins slowly. During the filling / bottleing process we induce the honey with vedic and scalar mantras and sounds.
Regarding bee health, the treatment of bees involves biological and biothermal methods, completely avoiding the use of soft and hard chemicals (free of formic, oxalic and varroacides). Additionally, it includes prioritization and rejuvenation procedures, as well as maintaining sufficient distance between colonies with a lower number of colonies per apiary, taking into account the thermal balance and climate of the beehives. Supportive interventions in beekeeping are carried out based on the principle of doing as little as possible and only as much as necessary!
In addition to chemical-free beekeeping, the honey is not creamed in the usual way, thus undergoing one less processing step. This allows it to finely crystallize, providing customers with an additional taste experience. Yogi Honey was examined by the QSI Laboratory in Bremen in the summer of 2023. This analysis covered environmental toxins, lead, pesticides, glyphosate, ragwort, neonicotinoids, and bee medications, all of which can be detected in standard and even organic honey throughout Europe and the World. The examination also included assessing water content, sensory evaluation, and pollen analysis. All tests revealed impeccable results in form of purity and quality! The honey complies with the requirements of the German Honey Regulation, and it is unquestionably genuine German honey!
The Beekeeper
Hello, my name is Michael Dreyer, and I am passionate about bees. In addition to the fascination and love for the bees, known by the old name “Immen,” I am dedicated to the health and natural development of my colonies.
Although my great-grandfather Willi Göldner and grandfather Gerhard Göldner from Leipzig were beekeepers, my adventurous journey into the world of bees began in 2009 at the age of 53 in Hamburg with my beekeeping mentor Frank Poppe. As a native of Bremen, my colonies are now located in the flourishing landscapes of Bremen’s allotment gardens and the surrounding areas. I have always felt a connection to nature, with self-sustaining gardens on one side and an appreciation for the nature of the human mind as a yogi and meditation leader on the other – hence the name Yogi Honey.
Since my retirement as an English teacher, I can now fully devote myself to my bees, gardens, and meditation seminars via Zoom. Outside the beekeeping season, I regularly seek further education in the Himalayan mountains of India. I take pride in the scientific test results of my Yogi Honey. The best honey laboratory in Bremen has objectively confirmed that my honey has passed all tests throughout Europe.
